Custom Structure
Build any structure yourself: grid · levels · columns · beams · walls · slabs · voids · 3D · analysis and member design
Bays can be any width. Elements already placed stay where they are when you change the grid.
Elevation is the top of the floor. Dead and live are the extra floor loads in kN/m² (used by the analysis step).
Builds a 3D frame from the model, applies the floor loads, wind and self-weight, combines them (EN 1990) and designs every member (EN 1992-1-1). Auto-size enlarges failing members and re-analyses.
Click an element to edit or delete it. Points snap to grid lines and intersections (hold the cursor over one). Escape cancels.
Existing elements are kept. Then delete the ones you don't want, for example to make a column-free span.
Dark squares are columns, grey lines beams, purple walls, blue fill slabs, red-crossed rectangles voids; dashed squares are columns that end below this level.
No issues found.
These check that the model hangs together (supports, overlaps, spans). They are not structural design checks: the analysis and member design are the next stage.

Scope: a linear-elastic 3D frame with floor loads on the nearest supports, no rigid diaphragms, no pattern loading and no second-order effects; flat slabs, openings, the beams carrying cantilever slabs (torsion) and long-span girders need separate design; concrete volumes are gross. Use it for preliminary sizing and check the result with a full analysis. Results are an aid only and must be verified by a qualified, licensed engineer before use. National Annex presets are recommended values and must be checked against the official documents.
